Professor Vicki Anderson

Royal Children's Hospital and Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Melbourne

Vicki Anderson is a child neuropsychologist at the Royal Children's Hospital and Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, Melbourne. Her expertise is in working with children with brain injuries and their families. Her clinical research team, the Australian Centre for Child Neuropsychology Studies (ACCNS) conducts research addressing the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of problems resulting from brain injury, including cognitive, behavioural and social difficulties. ACCNS has extensive local and international collaborations.

Professor Jennie Ponsford

Monash University

Jennie Ponsford leads an extensive program of research aimed at improving outcomes following traumatic brain injury, focused on assessment and treatment of problems including anxiety and depression, fatigue and cognitive dysfunction. She has collaborative grants with colleagues in the US, Canada and Europe. She is the immediate Past-President of the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), is a member of the Executive Committees of the International Brain Injury Association, the World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation, ASSBI and INS and serves on the editorial boards of five international journals.

Professor Robyn Tate

Robyn Tate’s expertise in outcome evaluation is reflected in her work on international committees within the World Health Organisation and the Cochrane Collaboration. She is Co-editor of Brain Impairment, Executive Editor of Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, and secretary of the Special Interest Group in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation of the World Federation of NeuroRehabilitation.

Professor Leanne Togher

Leanne Togher conducts innovative research in communication disorders and training for people with TBI, families, community agencies and health professionals in collaboration with colleagues in the USA and Canada (University of Wisconsin-Madison, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, University of Montreal). Associate Professor Angela Morgan

Murdoch Childrens Research Institute

Angela Morgan uses neuroimaging techniques (e.g., fibre tractography, functional connectivity) in her work examining prognosis and propensity for recovery of speech disorder following brain injury. Associate Professor Jennifer Fleming

Professor Jacinta Douglas

La Trobe University

Jacinta Douglas has qualifications in the disciplines of speech pathology and clinical neuropsychology. She is recognised internationally for her development of the La Trobe Communication Questionnaire and her research focusing on the role of communication in shaping social participation following traumatic brain injury. Jacinta is founding co-editor of the journal Brain Impairment and a Fellow of the Australian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment. She collaborates with colleagues in Europe (University of Copenhagen, Gothenburg University, University of Oslo), North America (University of Montreal, University of Wisconsin, Texas Institute of Rehabilitation Research) and Singapore (Singapore General Hospital).
